1. Touch the bottom of pool with feet.

2. False start twice

3. Incomplete Flip Turn

4. 1 Hand touch on Breaststroke turn/finish

5. Dolphin Kicking underwater too long on Backstroke. (16.5 yds or something in a 25 yd pool is the limit I believe, for HS.)

1. Pushing off the bottom in an advantageous way (you CAN touch it, just not push off in a helpful way).

2. Non-symetryical stroke in butterfly or breaststroke

3. False start

4. Swimming in another swimmer's lane (you can for a short amount of time- you are allowed a stroke or two to get back to your lane)

1) false starting (isn't now one false start and you're out?)

2) not keeping your feet together in fly

3) standing up

4) no more than 15m underwater in fly, back and front crawl starts - executing more than one complete breast stroke stroke under water

5) gliding into the turn on back stroke



you can't get dq for swimming with your fingers apart - thats crap! or for diving too deep

1. in a relay, leaving the block before the other member has touched any part of their body to the wall.



2. illegal kicking in breastroke (any up/down motion)



3. starting the actual breastroke before breaking the surface of the water with your head on starts/turns
