Nope. Saltwater in swimming pools is fairly plenty, plenty greater effective on your hair than chlorine. It won't injury your hair, do no longer situation. yet you ought to rinse it out, do no longer enable it dry on your hair, in any different case the water will dry away, however the salt flakes will decide your hair like dandruff.

Swim Caps won't do much. The idea of a swim cap is to keep hair out of your eyes, not to keep your hair dry.
What you really need to do is shower immediately after getting out of the pool and to use a swimmer's shampoo and hair conditioner (preferably with moisturizer). I've heard good things about Ultra Swim Shampoo and Tri-Swim, both of which you can buy at specialty swim shops or online.
Going bald aint a bad alternative either =P

put on a shower cap and make sure it stays on evn if it means u hv to put a hairband on it...u'll look like a retarded joker at the end of it but atleast ur hair will b safe from the pool water...
ma hair used 2 suffer d same fate in chlorine water but now i put on the cap....
alternatively, u can oil it and the ngo into the water...afterwards when u wash it, the hair retains its former glories......tho that is a less preferable option for me personally....

A swim cap is probably your best bet to keep your hair dry but a really good conditioner is L'Oreal Feria (it's the same kind that comes with the hair dye) and you can buy it at Sally Beauty Supply, it should be around $8 and it comes in a white tube. It's the best conditioner I've ever used.
