Well now, that depends, are you looking for a back inflated BC or a vest inflated? For vest inflated I would recommend SeaQuests Pro QD BC. It is an awesome BC, not too expensive as far as BC's run. It has SLS quick release integrated weights, back support lumbar system, a handle to carry the BC and also to aide in putting it on the tank in the proper position, left, right, and lower right dump valve, very tough and durable, all the pockets, gromets for attachable dive knife, D-rings ... it's basically just an awesome BC. A cheaper version would be the Passport which is also by Seaquest, a couple hundred $'s cheaper...the difference is you don't have the handle and the integrated weights are velcro release ... the Passport is great too, it is made out of a light material so it's perfect to travel with and also comes with a built in mesh bag.

If you are looking for back inflation, the Seaquest Balance is the way to go, however it is top of the line Seaquest and a bit pricey...a cheaper version of it is the Malibu which costs less but really has only a few differences, being it has the velcro integreated weights.

I would not recommend at a certain type of BC. I would rent some different ones for your local dive shop and then choose. BC fit differently underwater, so could buy a BC and think that it fits good. But when you go diving with it you don't like it. I DON'T like the back inflating BC because when they are inflated you face is in the water and it take some work to say upright when you are one the surface.
