What are some cheap places to swim with dolphins?

Ahh, I don't know about California. D: In Florida theres a nice place though. It's only $40, and you can wade in knee deep water and pet them and feed them. :) I really don't think this will help your situation though. :/ Good luck!

Since you are asking this in the Orlando section, there is only one place between Ohio and Orlando where you can swim with dolphins, Discovery Cove in Orlando. There are other locations in Miami and the Florida Keys. Of course, that takes you much farther south than you apparently want to go by posting in this section. Prices for either the All-Inclusive package or the Trainer for A Day package at Discover Cove start at $199 per person. The price includes admission to your choice of either Sea World Orlando, Aquatics in Orlando or Busch Gardens in Tampa. Those prices are individually calculated on their website and depends on what you choose to do. I'm afraid that it is up to you to decide if that is cheap enough or not. FWIW, if you can't afford $199 per person at Discovery Cove, then I would assume that $374 per adult ($354 for kids) in Key Largo would be even farther out of your price range, not to mention losing two days of vacation in Orlando for the Keys trip. Removing the dolphin swim and looking at the rest of the available offer for just a second, if you gave me the choice of two days on a tour bus vs a day at Sea World Orlando, I know which one I would choose. I think you might choose the same way. If you're interested in ocean/sea life enough to want to swim with dolphins, kicking Shamu to the curb for a two day tour bus ride doesn't make much sense, especially if the bus package is much more expensive, does it?
